Prayer Points 18 April 2021
Our Church
Congregational Singing – My heart is filled with thankfulness to Him who reigns above… Thank God that we are able to sing our praises to Him! It is such a blessing and encouragement to hear one another worship God with our voices. Please be reminded that the guidelines only permit singing at our congregational services and not during any other activities. We look forward to further relaxation of COVID restrictions.
Land Lease Renewal Fund – Continue to pray for the LLRF as we near the time for application. Thank God for the much we have already received in giving and in interest-free loans. Pray that God will continue to supply all our needs and for Zion Bishan to serve His kingdom purposes by being “a city on a hill and a light to the nations.”
Our People
Catechism Class Retreat – Thank God that the catechumens were able to participate in a half-day retreat yesterday. We took an extended time to reflect upon our relationship with Jesus and to pray for one another. Pray for the 30 persons attending to find a spiritual home here at Zion Bishan – especially for each to find an AG to belong to and a place to serve in.
Our World
Rev B.K. Biswas – On Monday (12 Apr) we received news of Rev Biswas’ peaceful home-going. He was the founder of one of our ministry partners in NE India. We praise God for his life of faithful service to the Lord in North East India. Pray for comfort and peace for the family. We also thank God for his legacy of churches here in NE India. Pray that they will be faithful and obedient to God.
