Sanctuary Banners May 2021

The Acts series for the church banners is envisioned geographically, taking its cue from the locations Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria and to the end of the earth. Mapped out over the 4 hung banners, the line map of the temple area Jerusalem in Jesus’ time is roughly sketched out in banner 2. Judea and Samaria are suggested with sparser lines in banner 3 and the ‘end of the earth’ idea is given a wilder, ‘explorer’ vintage graphic approach in banner 4. Each scene has the tongue of fire/Spirit-dove symbol to represent the witnessing power in each location by Jesus’ followers.
