Next Step Towards The New Normal
Session met on 19 Oct to deliberate, amongst other matters, our worship services in the light of our observations in September and October. Session is convicted that we need to be good stewards of God’s resources and also to urgently address the negative impact of not being able to have regular church worship and activities across all ages and ethnicity. Hence, to enable our children and youths to have regular church-based activities, our worshippers to return more regularly, and to maximize our resources, we will conduct only 250-Persons Vaccinated Only Worship Services for all services. This does not apply to those services which originally do not exceed 50 persons.
We still encourage non-vaccinated worshippers to join us. But as per government regulations, you would need to undergo a Pre-Event Testing (PET) no earlier than 24 hours before you come for service on Sunday. We would like to support you in this PET requirement. The church leaders will reach out to those whom we know to be unvaccinated. We encourage others who are unvaccinated to reach out to us too so that none will be left out.
Most importantly, we may all return in-person to worship God, and in time, have more meaningful fellowship. Above all, let us pray earnestly for God’s mercy to restore all things on earth, or if not, may His Son our Lord Jesus return soon.
