- Recall the sermon that you heard, what were 3 important insights that you learned?
- Some have observed that 5:7 is a summary statement of the entire book of Ecclesiastes. Take some time to meditate on this verse.
- Do an honest review of your life with God: How do you take care to listen to God more than to speak (5:2)? Have “dreams” and “many words” been a feature of your prayer life (5:3-7)?
- What ‘vows’ have you made to God you’ve found hard to keep? How does Jesus’ finished work on the Cross fit into this struggle? Let God speak to you about these matters, then respond and talk to Him.
