Prayer Points 17 July 2022
Our Church
Basic AG Leaders Equipping Course – Praise God that 8 participants have come to the end of the BAGLE course today! As some of them consider the possibility of stepping forward into formal AG Leadership, please pray for God’s conviction in their hearts, and clarity through His Word and His Spirit. As others continue to toil hard in their AGs to “proclaim Jesus, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so as to present everyone fully mature in Christ” (Col. 1:28), pray that our Lord Jesus will remind them that they too are His sheep under His care. May each AG Leader in Zion Bishan feed the flock with Christ’s Words and in turn be nourished by His living waters too.
Our People
Daniel Tay who underwent a major surgery on 31 May was discharged on 24 June. He received the good news this past week from the surgeon that no radiation nor chemotherapy will be necessary as the large cancerous tumour was removed successfully. Let us praise God for answered prayers!
Our World
India – Pray for the flood situation in Assam to improve as many families connected to our partner are struggling greatly to cope with the lack of clean water and relief. Thank God for brother K’s continued healing from his hip replacement surgery 2 weeks ago. He is recovering well and was visited by brother Sambhu last week. Pray that he will be able to return to his theological studies soon. May God comfort his mum (who is very worried) and provide skills training for his sister who has dropped out of school during this period.
Indonesia – One of our partners here is visiting ZB this week. We look forward to a good meeting in person especially since the pandemic restricted our usual visits. The gospel need to the majority group is still great, pray for the Lord of the Harvest to send more workers into this harvest field.Nepal – Our partner has requested prayers for their new children home that takes care of 17 new children. Pray for Bro D and wife N as they manage the care for them. May God raise up more helpers for this work.
