Prayer Points 11 September 2022
Our Church
Tuition Ministry – Last week on Teachers’ Day (1 Sep), we appreciated our tutors for their hard work and sacrificial love for the students. Pray for the students as they prepare for their final exams amid challenging circumstances at home, poor health, and special needs backgrounds. Pray too for the efforts of Dns Li Hwee and the team to be sustained by our Father, that the love of Christ may be clearly shown.
Tamil Service – Our Tamil Service will be having its 38th anniversary celebration on 18 September, remembering God’s goodness and faithfulness throughout these years.
Our World
Indonesia – Thank God that our partner in Indonesia was able to visit another team in Batam to support them. This collaboration of the ongoing friendships established through the long-term team there and the short-term visitors led to much fruitful ministry. Thank God for those who turned to God and for those who wanted to know more. May the love of Christ continue to shine through the service and ministry of all in the body of Christ here.
India – One partner in the Hindi Belt regions is undergoing leadership changes, pray for a smooth transition and the continuous work of equipping the saints for the harvest field there. May God continue to raise up supporters and workers for the unfinished task. In the northeast, our bible college partner asked for prayers for the construction and completion of 3 churches and the teaching sessions amongst new believers in 4 villages. May seekers and believers see Jesus as He is revealed through the Word. One partner in the northern hills have been reaching out to children and youths via their ministries, pray for the children and youth camp planned for next month. May the light, the life and the hope of Christ be shared clearly and received openly.
