Prayer Points 16 October 2022
Our Church
Guest Worker Ministry – Uphold the team, led by Pastor Ebi Mohan, who will be reaching out to guest workers at the Terusan Recreation Centre this afternoon through badminton and conversations over chai (tea) and snacks. Pray for good connections to be formed, and discernment on how to move forward following this initial event.
English as Second Language (ESL) Ministry – Pray for the ministry’s year end celebrations tomorrow. Thereafter, a few students will be embarking on reading the Bible together with some teachers. Please pray for wisdom for the teachers to choose the relevant passages, and for God to work in the hearts of the students by His Spirit, that they may believe.
Women of Zion Retreat 2022 – We thank God for the WOZ Retreat “Gracestoration” on 8 to 9 Oct. We hope that the 34 ladies who attended were blessed by the messages and the fellowshipping. Pray that their faith continue to be strengthened, and those who are seeking will come to know Jesus as Lord and Saviour.
Board Of Deacons (BOD) – We thank God for our deacons & deaconesses who diligently run the ministries of our church. This Sat they will be starting a monthly breakfast to grow in fellowship and encourage one another.
Our World
Nepal – Thank God for the safe arrival of the second Nepal team at their destination in E. Nepal. They have had a busy schedule of sharing and training with the teachers and children. Pray that these lessons will be useful in enriching the lives of the special needs children, helping them communicate more effectively and also grow to be individuals who can live more fully into the life that God has prepared for them. Thank God for this ministry of compassion for this marginalised group in Nepal.
Indonesia – Thank God for the faithful platforms of outreach, such as education and small businesses that different brothers and sisters here have for shining for our Lord. May the Lord bless each faithful worker, nourishing them from His abundant riches of grace. Many live simple and sacrificial lives so that they can serve the harvest.
