Prayer Points 18 June 2023
Our Church
Cambodia trip – Pray for the 12 member team, 3 from our church and the rest from other churches led by Heather and Jethro to Cambodia from 24 Jun to 1 Jul. Pray for a time of fruitful ministry in supporting various outreaches to the villages and slum areas. In addition, may they be blessed by the Christian fellowship and encouragement in the Lord as they interact with the ministry base workers.
Eld Lim Ton Lon’s family – Eld Lim from the Malaysia Christian Evangelistic League (MCEL) church in Rompin (Rompin Church) went home to the Lord on 13 Jun, last Tuesday after complications from a COVID infection in the weeks before that. May the Lord comfort the family of the late Eld Lim, especially for the four grown children of Eld Lim who have not only lost their father but also their mother 10 years ago through a serious car accident. Ps Alby, Ps Paul and Ps Kew travelled to Rompin church this past week to help conduct one of the wake services.
Our World
Indonesia – Our partner created a mission school in 2006 to nurture and train harvest workers for the various fields here. Since then over 200 alumni have graduated and been sent out. This month, 12 students graduated and will be sent out soon to various mission fields. Pray that the graduates will be faithful in ministry where they are sent.
India – Many of our ministry partners have congregation members who have health issues and serious illnesses. Pray for healing for the sick and also strength for those who are ministering to them. Many partners and their fields experience challenges from the community that they live in. Pray that there will be compassionate community leaders who will help the believers in basic needs, such as a place to bury their people.
