Our Church

Basic AG Leaders Equipping (BAGLE) – Remember in prayer the 8 BAGLE participants as the course rounds up with a half-day retreat this coming Saturday (8 July). Pray for these 8 members and leaders as they engage with the topic of shepherding God’s sheep in their AGs, that they will learn to do so out of the care and refuge of Christ their Good Shepherd. Pray also that they will be challenged to think through healthy ideas of sustainable gospel service, as we consider the common danger of ministry burnout. May all our AG Leaders in Zion Bishan minister always out of the abundance of Jesus’ overflowing love for us. 

Youth Sunday – As we celebrate Youth Sunday and spend time during the service to think about what discipleship amongst youth could look like, we want to be praising God for the intergen diversity in our ZB church family! Pray for our church family to be an intentional space for intergen personal discipleship to take place, and for patience and wisdom for our parents and youth leaders as they walk with our youths; pray for our youths that as they get to know Jesus, they too desire to #getdeep in their discipleship, even amidst the distractions and challenges of these days.

Our World

Indonesia – Our partner’s ministry to the blind is expanding to Bali and Nusa Tenggara Timur region. Thank God for the opportunity to train a significant of the blind community in the use of computers and in other ways too. Their recent survey team also found a village with many who are deaf and mute and are now praying about the opportunities to reach out to them.  Pray that God will lead them clearly in this.

Hari Raya Haji – Pray that the love and light of Christ will be felt by many pilgrims who are expected to travel to Saudi Arabia for the Hajj this past week. May it also be a safe season for them as stampedes in the past has led to hundreds of deaths and injuries.
