Our Denomination

Emmanuel BPC – We thank God that Breakthrough Missions is assisting EBPC with their Chinese service. They will be holding a bilingual evangelistic outreach on 6th Aug 9.30am, with many testimonies and songs from the brothers there. Pray that God will move hearts to come and hear good news!

Our World

Pray for our Nation – Pray for our parliamentarians. Much has happened, much has been said and will be said. As Christians, instead of further comments and opinions, let us use the time to pray for the government as it picks up the pieces. Pray also for those who are involved for healing and restoration. Most importantly, pray for the spouses and children who were innocently drawn into the quagmire.

Philippines – Thank God for Ps Theonikko, who has been on a visit to us from our mission partner (SMO, Student Missionary Outreach) in the Philippines. It was good to hear him preach God’s word from Jonah last week as part of our missions month sermon series. Thank God for the opportunities also to re-connect with ex-trippers who have been to the Philippines from our church. Pray that there will be more college level volunteers with our partner as they need these leaders to help go to the high schools to reach out with the gospel to the younger youths there. May more young people come to know God as their saviour and dedicate their lives to serving Him.

Malaysia / MCEL – Praise God that the Malaysia Chinese Evangelistic League (MCEL) churches at Endau, Rompin, Hubong celebrated its 38th anniversary on last week. We thank God that Ps Alby, Ps Paul and Ps and Mrs Quek SH along with 16 others from ZB were able to go up to join in the thanksgiving service on 15 Jul. Pray for unity and love as they continue to shine for Christ in this region where there are very few churches.
