Our Church
MM Retreat – Please uphold the 66 brothers, as they leave for their annual Men’s Ministry spiritual retreat at Pulai Springs, JB from 12-14 Nov. Do pray that they will have a safe trip and a God-led restful time of deep sharing with one another. Pray for Ps Dev as he shares 3 messages and for the brothers who will be sharing their testimonies.
Tuition Ministry – Thank God for the year-end party this past Thursday (9 Nov). Prizes and gifts were given out to encourage the students and appreciate the teachers for their hard work this past year. Pray for continued friendships between teachers, students and parents, that they may continue to experience the love of Christ through this ministry and will want to take steps closer to Him. Pray also for more church members to step forward to serve next year as tutors and admin, logistics and evangelism supporters.
Enabling Ministry – Thank God for the workshop on 4 Nov where we had the opportunity to learn more about disabilities and how we ought to be practising love towards everyone within our church-family, especially towards the differently-abled. May God continue to empower us to be a community where we can be welcoming all peoples, and even those with special needs.
Our People
HY – HY who is from our 4.30pm congregation, left last Saturday for a 5 month service trip to Habibi International in West Asia. Pray for a smooth transition to life on the field serving them in the area of administration and finance. Pray that she will also guard her personal time with God well so that she can abide well in Christ and be fruitful in her ministry.
Our World
Myanmar – Thank God that 200 families in Yangon received rice packets each from our mission partner there. This was part of a food relief project by 3 ZB donors for families in need near our partner’s church. Thank God for this opportunity to share the love of Christ in a concrete way.
India – Pray for Sambhu, SA, Sharon and Ps Ebi as they complete the 3 tracks of training for our mission partner in North India. Thank God for the education work of our partner in this unreached area. This past week’s teacher and ministry training was well received. The team was also blessed by the fellowship and encouragement over meal and other times in the Lord.
