Our Church
30th Church Anniversary Service cum Dinner (26 Oct) – As we gather to celebrate this significant milestone in our church family, let us come with a joyful and grateful heart to give thanks to God for His faithfulness to us as a Church over these past 30 years. Pray that our inclusive multi-ethnic worship be a fragrant offering to the Lord and our conversations around the 85 dinner tables be filled with love and gratitude. Please uphold in prayer all who are involved in the service and dinner; and pray also for non-believers, guests as well as dinner servers, that they will experience God’s love and joy in our midst.
Seniors 360 – Thank God for approximately 90 attendees to last week’s health talk on cancer warning signs and screening. There were 13 first time visitors and also some repeat visitors to this monthly event. Pray that the ministry team will have wisdom and perseverance to follow up those who may have the spiritual hunger to know God more. May the love and truth of the gospel flow to these ones.
Community Day (16 Nov) – Pray for our AGs and members as they prepare for their respective booths’ activities and programmes on 16 Nov. Starting next Saturday 26 Oct, members will also be going door-to-door to nearby flats to distribute invites to the residents for this event after a simple briefing that morning. Pray for our hearts to be filled with the love and hospitality of Christ as we invite them to get to know us – the church. May the good news of Jesus be communicated and demonstrated in all our interactions and conversations with all who come.
Our World
Indonesia – One of our ministry partners in East Indonesia has an established ministry to people with various disabilities (hearing and visual challenges). We thank God for 2 centres ministering to the visually challenged where 2 persons took the step of baptism. Pray for wisdom for our partner and his workers to disciple those in this community well so that they will be able to grow in their faith, love and obedience to God.
