Prayer Points 20 Apr 2025

Our Church

Church Camp 2025 – We are just two months away to Camp and we praise God for 451 adults and children who have registered for camp this year! Please uphold our speaker, Henry Eatock-Taylor and his wife, Rebecca & daughters, Chloe & Elizabeth who will be ministering to our preschoolers, that the Lord will guide them in their preparation for this time of ministry among us. For camp to run smoothly and meaningfully, we need an army of people to serve in various capacities, please pray for many willing hearts to respond to God’s call to serve.

Terusan Guest Workers Outreach – Pray that every guest worker attending will experience the deep love of Christ and find hope through the message of Easter. Pray that hearts will be open to receiving the good news of Jesus Christ and that lives will be transformed, and also for meaningful connections between the workers and the outreach team, so friendships and community support can grow. May God’s strength, wisdom, and guidance be upon those leading and serving in the outreach program.

Additions & Alterations Building Project – The site showround was conducted to 8 pre-qualified tenderers this past Thursday. Contractors who are committed to tender will be issued the tender documents and drawings this Monday 21 April, upon submission of a tender deposit. Pray for the tenderers to be thorough and fair in their tender preparation and for the Lord to prepare a competent and responsible contractor to undertake this project.

Our World

Myanmar – Thank God for the safe distribution of relief aid such as water, medicine and tarpaulins for shelter in the recent 2 weeks to the earthquake affected areas. The reports and pictures from 2 church groups and an NGO known to us has helped our church understand the scale and need. Pray for the provision of the financial resources needed to continue providing aid in the coming weeks. Many are living in tents and have had to battle the heat and the lack of clean water to survive daily. Pray for the churches who are reaching out to the affected in their community and beyond it to persevere in love and compassion. Pray that the government will not hinder the timely distribution of aid to affected areas (BBC news, 2 April 2025).
