Questions for Reflection and Discussion

1. Jesus says He came that people “may have life and have it abundantly” (v. 10). What does that kind of overflowing life look like to you?
2. What are some “thieves and robbers” who have deceived or stolen that kind of life from you?
3. What distinguishing mark of the “good shepherd” does Jesus repeat several times in verses 11–18? What does that say about the shepherd?
