Prayer Points 11 Feb 2024
Our Church
Darrell T. – Praise God for how He is moving believers in global missions through the mobilisation work of Darrell and his team at WEC. Pray that his team will make many meaningful connections and journey with those who are discerning their direction in this area. Their team has also been working on the Chinese version of the MomentumYes video course that helps believers better understand and participate in God’s mission. Please pray that this project can be completed and used to mobilise the global Chinese church for missions.
CNY – As most of us enjoy the CNY festivities, do take some time to remember those who for family situations, or physical or emotional health reasons may not be able to enjoy the celebrations. If you know of any such brothers or sisters, do take some time to pray for them. Or better, arrange to meet or visit their homes.
Our Denomination
Emmanuel BP – The leaders of EBPC had their first ever leadership retreat last Saturday – run by Intersect. It was a beneficial time for all, and helped solidify what questions to address next, as we seek to revitalize the church.
Our World
India – Pray for one of our partners whose workers are sharing the good news of Christ in the north eastern states. May God protect these workers and provide for their families. This partner is recruiting students for their Life Skills Training programme even as they are being sent out to the field for practical ministry, pray for the right candidates to be recruited and for them to be faithful in their calling. One partner is organising a Men’s conference this month, pray that it will be edifying and Men will be further equipped to serve.
Philippines – Pray for Student Missionary Outreach (SMO) as their premises in Murcia called the promised land had a break-in by thieves in January, we thank God that no one was hurt though rooms were ransacked and money taken. Our partner recently received a youth team from our church after Christmas. They have since made the premises more secure.
