Our Church
Catechism Class Retreat – Our catechumens managed to spend half a Saturday reflecting on their journey with Christ. We thank God for the wonderful location & meaningful time together. Pray that they will continue to grow in faith and fruitfulness, as they prepare themselves for baptism, transfer or reaffirmation on Pentecost Sunday.
Guest Workers’ Outreach – Thank God for the faithfulness of the brothers in this team since the ministry began in October last year. Pray for God to raise more volunteers to interact with and befriend these guest workers who need to hear about Jesus, and for Him to be merciful in breaking the spiritual bondage the guest workers are living in. Pray also for the Lord’s wisdom and favour for next steps in applying to conduct prayer & worship services.
Our People
KY – Pray for KY who is in West Asia serving with Habibi International. This is a Singapore NGO serving refugees in a certain region. Pray for KY and the team who left on 27 Mar for the annual prayer conference. May the Lord grant them a blessed time of prayer and refreshment as they seek His will in the region. Pray also for the Lord to strengthen those who stayed behind to manage the ongoing work of the community centre during the team’s absence.
Our World
India – Pray for Indian elections happening from 19 Apr to 1 Jun 2024, where Prime Minister N. Modi will be seeking a 3rd consecutive term in office. In these elections, 970 million people are eligible to vote in India and the results will be known on 4 Jun 2024, when votes will be counted (ST, 17 Mar). Pray for God to strengthen His people who are already facing many different challenges in this current political climate. Pray also that good leaders will be elected that will govern the various regions with wisdom and justice.
