Our Church

Singapore Celebrates Our 59th National Day – Let’s give thanks to God for His grace and blessings upon Singapore. Thank God for good and faithful leaders. Thank God for the peace and prosperity that we enjoy. Thank God for the freedom to express and proclaim our faith without fear or threat. But we know all these are not to be taken for granted that they will continue. Let’s pray earnestly for God to keep the hearts of our leaders, whether believers or not. Pray that we will sacrificially invest the prosperity that we enjoy in God’s Kingdom work. Pray that we will boldly proclaim the Gospel of the Lord Jesus.

Genesis Series – As we begin our new sermon series, pray for our hearts and minds as one church to hear from our Creator God in Genesis. Pray for our preachers too as they prayerfully prepare each week, that our Lord may minister to them to minister to our congregations.

‘Looking into Full Time (LIFT)’ Session – Thank God for the handful of participants who joined us last week at our annual LIFT session, where we discussed the role of every saint in ministry from Ephesians, and the possibility of exploring full-time paid gospel ministry. Pray that the Lord will continue to guide and lead each participant in their current journeys and ongoing ministry work.

430 Congregation Leaders’ Retreat – Pray for the Pastors, Elders, BOD, Staff, Apprentices, AG Leaders and Potential Leaders as they gather from the 7th to 9th August to be refreshed and re-convicted with talks from Mark’s Gospel, and to spend time in prayer for one another and the wider Zion Bishan family.

Our World

Mongolia trip – Thank God for Ps Paul and Ps Lim,
along with 5 others from our church and 1 other from another church, who are
currently in Mongolia for a time of fellowship and spiritual refreshment with a
community of Mongolian brothers and sisters.
According to Joshua Project, out of a total population of 3.4m, 98.1% of
Mongolians are unreached and Buddhism (41.6%) is its largest religion. May this
time be a mutually blessed time of connection and encouragement in the Lord.
