Our Church
AG Leaders – We praise God for the many AG leaders across all our congregations who have labored in love to shepherd, teach and love their members over the past year. As the end of the year marks a teaching break for many of our AGs, pray for a time of physical rest and restoration for our AGLs and a season of more spiritual refreshment with Christ through that.
Genesis Sermon Series – Thank God for speaking and teaching us through the book of Genesis over the past 4 months! Pray that the truths proclaimed will continue to transform our hearts and shape the way we live as a church in Zion Bishan. Please share any reflections or thoughts from the series with us (link on the last page of bulletin).
Radion Team (24 Nov – 2 Dec) – A team of 8 adults are flying to Phetchabun, Thailand this Sunday to love the kids both from the Radion shelter and the villages with the Gospel. Pray for Jesus’ love to be displayed clearly, and for attentiveness to what God will teach us through all that we see and experience through the home visits to the Hmong people in the villages, the evangelistic kids camp, and a mass food distribution.
Community Day (16 Nov) – Thank God for the many visitors and friends who came in spite of the weather, and also for the opportunity to love our neighbours as salt and light in Bishan. Pray for wisdom and love to continue connecting with them beyond the event last Saturday, and for us to know how we can be serving them as a church family.
Terusan Migrant Guest Workers’ Christmas Program – Pray for a Christmas Outreach that will take place next week (1 Dec, 6.30pm in our church), that God will bring all who have registered to listen to the gospel of Christ. May God use all the volunteers for His glory as they show His love in serving the guest workers.
Our Denomination
Emmanuel BP Church – Praise the Lord that they have found a licensed anchor tenant, Active Radiant Life, for the premises at One Pemimpin. Do pray for a good working partnership between the church and the organisation going forward. Pray also for the 3-yearly renewal of the license to operate as a religious organisation in this industrial space.
Our World
Nepal – Thank God for the group of 4 from our church that has arrived in Nepal and travelled smoothly through various places by car, small plane and finally through a day’s trek to their remote destination. Pray for a good time of connecting with the believers there and wisdom to support their efforts to be salt and light to a village there.
