Prayer Points 16 Mar 2025
Our Church
Tuition Ministry – Thank God for our volunteer teachers who have been journeying with the students, helping them in their studies this first semester of the academic year. Pray for good rest in the term break this coming week, that they will be refreshed and ready to continue ministering to the students, loving them with the love of Jesus.
Seniors Retreat – A total of 61 seniors will be participating in the Seniors Retreat (22 – 25 Mar 2025) in Ipoh and Cameron Highlands, with Pastor Daniel Yaw as the speaker. Pray for the participants to spend quality time together in fruitful fellowship with God and fellow seniors, to learn from God through messages focused on the theme “Right Walk in Christ” and to apply these lessons practically in life by walking rightly in Christ and in His Truth.
Terusan Guest Workers Outreach – Pray over the upcoming Easter program (worship service) at Terusan, asking for God’s presence to touch the hearts of many. This service will kick off weekly services commencing in May. There remains a need for dedicated volunteers who are willing to serve with commitment, compassion, and wisdom. Do uphold the planning team, which will be making time after our morning services to intercede for the ministry.
Our People
S. Rai – Thank God for S. Rai, a Nepali brother who helps our church’s mission work in India and Nepal, and has assisted with various visiting ZB teams for the past 6 months. He is finally returning to the UK to be reunited with his family. Thank God for his faithful service! Pray for a restful reunion with loved ones and for open doors as he transits into another phase of ministry with the Nepali Diaspora there.
Our World
Syria – Newsweek (12 Mar) updates that the number of civilians killed in this recent wave of violence since 6 Mar has risen to 1,383 persons (from the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights), with most from the minority Alawite sect. Our Lebanese partner also reports that Christians they know have also been affected by the killings. Pray for peace to come back to this region, and for the Lord to continue strengthening His saints there.
