Prayer Points 23 Mar 2025
Our Church
Explore Internship 2025 – We thank God for our 2 Explore interns, Brennan Ting and Ashley Tan, who will be with us for the next 4 weeks. Pray that this will be a time of exploring and growing in their faith and relationship with God, through the bible studies, workshops and ministry exposure. May whatever they learn and experience in this internship deepen their gospel convictions and equip them to be faithful followers of Jesus in this transitional season and every season of life.
Catechism Class Retreat – Praise God for the time our 30 or so catechumens had at our retreat yesterday to rest, fellowship and hear from our Lord in His Word! Continue to lift them up in prayer that the Spirit will keep growing each individual in knowledge of and intimacy with our Father in the weeks ahead.
Our People
Doreen M. – Pray for her sharing at the next Missions Prayer Night (MPN), on 28 Mar 2025, Friday, 8-9pm. She will be sharing about her ministry work with a project that aims to spark disciple making movements in Asian cities. Pray for good engagement and attendance at this zoom prayer meeting for our church so that more will consider participating in missions, whether here in Singapore or outside of it. Doreen is from our church’s Mandarin-English congregation.
Our Denomination
Emmanuel BP – We thank God that the premise at One Pemimpin was approved for another 2 years, for non-exclusive religious use (which is required for all churches to legally operate in B1 Industrial Estates). Please pray that our current anchor tenant, Active Radiant Life, will continue to grow and thrive, which in turn, we pray, will sustain the continued licensing and premise-upkeep for the church’s worship and activities. Pray also that all who use that space may learn to partner one another in ministry for God’s Kingdom.
Our World
MENA Team – This past week a few from our church joined a group that left on Thursday for a vision trip to this region. The aim was to explore our heavenly Father’s heart for this area. Pray for love and unity for the team as they meet fellow brothers and sisters here to serve and encourage them. We are thankful for an opportunity also to fellowship together for a time of spiritual and physical retreat. Pray especially for a calm to the recent tensions in this region and for everyone to be physically well and safe.
